Happy Monday! With a little break from the rain, I managed to get up in the sky and above the beach to check out the new swell that’s settled overnight in Freshwater. There’s a wave and it’s actually a little bit bigger than forecast, maybe in the 4 to 5 ft range.
The water has really been ground up too. Lots of amazing colours with the sand mixed in.
It’s a bit of a different post today with regards to the photographs that I got from the drone.
I’m exploring more of the abstract style imagery and looking for more locations of interest around Freshwater Beach.
It’s actually quite difficult, for me at least, trying to get new inspiration for beach prints from the same locality every day. Freshie has some amazing aspects though and really the different swell, weather, light and time of day combined make all the difference.
I’m still working on a print lab for the beach prints and will up date on things soon enough.
