And that was a wet weekend. Seems like the clouds did eventually open up and let it rain in Freshwater. I managed to get the old bird up on Saturday before the rain came through.
I always find it amazing how the beach and water still look amazing even when it looks quite dreary and overcast on terra firma. The Freshwater Beach pool and reef always look stunning though.
With more rain forecast this coming week in the Freshwater Beach, Manly and Cabbage Tree Bay areas it’s gonna about timing to get up in the sky. I’ve got a few more angles that I’ve recently discovered around Freshwater so gonna go and check those out more. Plus Cabbage Tree Bay needs more exploration. When summer comes I think the photos from the drone are gonna be pure gold.
As I said, I managed to get up in the sky for only a little bit this weekend and due to the nature of the overcast skies, I found it more difficult to find colourful compositions. So here are a few images, mainly of Freshwater Beach and Manly.
Surf forecast looking to be good mid to end of the week with 2-4ft swell forecast with light ish north easterly winds in the mornings. The whole week there is swell around but with stronger winds forecast looking for shelter in southern corners Monday Tuesday is a must.
Have a great rest of your weekend with more to come in the week ahead.
Peace.
Chrisso.
