Freshwater Beach Sydney has many moments that I would call perfection. But even on a moody spring day like today, I’d still consider it to be perfect. I’ve been looking at modern art prints, cheap prints and etsy art prints for my office for ages and not been 100% taken on anything. Taking aerial photographs with the drone has inspired me to get some Freshwater Beach Prints put up in my office. Moody spring days with the crazy clouds and amazing watercolours are my favourite.
I could go on about the small, lacklustre waves that are a bit straight today. I could even say the water could be a couple of degrees more. But the reality is the water is perfect any time you get in, even on these moody days. Oh ok, maybe those wintery days that are windy, rainy and cold with the junky swell, not so perfect. Still good but.
Took the drone for a fly over to Shelly Beach Manly today, always a good way to get a bit of battery anxiety first thing in the morning. I never hang around for more than five minutes, you know, just in case on the way back I run out of juice. The colours are pretty amazing at the moment with lots of shades of blues around.
As for the surf, the swell around Freshie has been fairly straight recently, still a wave though and the water’s warming up nicely. Spring suits for now but I reckon the boardies are only weeks away.
I’m currently in the process of getting a print and frame solution for my Freshwater Beach photography beach prints. I’ve been itching to print out some of my beach prints for ages and currently getting samples. I want to see how the images from the drone blow up in size. I’m using a pretty budget drone at the moment which is pretty much like having an iPhone in the air. We’ll see though how sharp the images come out for large prints for walls.
